Giving to North Country School is about much more than dollars and cents. It's about giving back, giving to the future and giving for a more sustainable school and world. However you might wish to contribute, we welcome your participation.
Each year through their generous contributions, our donors help ensure that the benefits of an NCS education are available both to current students and to future generations.
That's the fundamental goal of the Strong Roots, High Peaks Campaign.
Gifts to the Annual Fund provide scholarship assistance, support faculty and staff salaries, and underwrite day-to-day operations—from feed for the animals to climbing gear to the latest computer technology—that everyone recognizes as vital to the NCS experience.
Capital gifts, and legacy gifts for bricks and mortar and endowment, allow for large-scale, long-term improvements and help preserve the fiscal health of the institution.
Just as important, our community provides additional much-needed assistance. Whether encouraging classmates to attend Friends' Weekend, or making phone calls on behalf of the Annual Fund, or hosting an alumni and friends event in their hometown, volunteers play a vital role.
And we are always looking for new recruits.
Perhaps sharing your professional expertise with NCS students is more to your liking; in that case, a range of opportunities exists, from guest lecturing to Skyping with students or leading an Intersession course.
If you have an idea to share or would like to help in any way, please contact us.
