Head of Kitchen
Paulette Peduzzi
Paulette grew up on her family’s farm in Minnesota; with their animals and large garden, she experienced sustainable living at an early age. She attended St. Cloud State University and The College of St. Catherine before traveling throughout the United States and Europe. Paulette joined the kitchen staff of NCS in 1994. She earned the NYS ServSafe Certification in March 2008. Paulette’s two children, Luke ('08) and Naomi ('12), are NCS graduates.

Chris Wood
Chris joined the staff of NCS during the spring of 2005. He works hard keeping the campus buildings and grounds maintained. Chris lives in Lake Placid.
Carly Terreberry
Carly grew up in central New Jersey and attended Paul Smith's College, where she earned a degree in Environmental Studies. She traveled extensively through the country and internationally, and recently returned to the beautiful Adirondack region to make it her permanent home. In addition to travel, she also likes to downhill ski, camp and canoe.

Monica Forbes
Monica came to NCS in December 2012 from the Uihlein Living Center in Lake Placid. There she spent 12 years as supervisor of housekeeping and laundry. A graduate of Lake Placid High School, Monica was born, raised, and still lives in Wilmington—these days with her husband Darin, daughter Megan, two dogs, and a cat. In her spare time, Monica enjoys canoeing and camping locally and traveling farther afield. She enjoyed a recent trip to Montana, visits Lancaster County in Pennsylvania every year to indulge her fascination with the Amish, and has her sights set on an Alaskan cruise in the not too distant future.
Housekeeping

Kristy Holzer
Prior to working at North Country School and Camp Treetops, Kristy worked at Santa's Workshop in Wilmington, NY and as a vacation rental cleaner. Kristy enjoys spending time with her grandson, hiking, swimming, gardening, and farming (she has ducks and goats!). She and her partner Douglas are parents of sons Chris and Bryan and grandparents of grandson Sawyer.
